I almost skipped mani monday because I painted my nails twice and neither was I in love with but this was the lesser of the two evils.  I tried doing the same color but with  tips in a pale pink and it sucked so started over and this is what I wound up with.I painted them my new color which is L'Oreal greycian goddess and put a heart on my ring finger in china glazes make a entrance. 

I do like this grey it is more of a straight up grey where as my wet and wild wet cement and sally hanson commander in chic are more of a purple toned grey.  :)  Well I hope you guys are having a good week I am going to go pull on some stretchy pants and catch up on American horror story.

Favorite lip products of 2012

 This is the last of my favorites of 2012 series.  I have had lots of go to lip products this year that I adore.  I have been tending to use lip sticks where as I mostly used glosses before. Here are my favs.

Favorite balm:

Maybelline baby lips has been my favorite I have tons all over the house my go to dolor is the turquoise tube with the purplish color.  They are super moisturizing with a hint of color.

 Favorite berry:

Maybelline blissful berry is my favorite berry color.  It is a all around great lip stick.

 Favorite Nude:

My favorite nude is Maybelline born with it.  It is not too shimmer, not too washed out, or too pink, just a nice basic nude.

 Favorite Lip Butters:

These are such a favorite of mine they get their own category.  They are moiturizing

The first is red velvet it is a great easy perfect deep red lip. 

Pink Truffle is a great more reddish neutral It is very flattering and not super bright and out there.  A good every day color.

Favorite long lasting/ favorite red lip:

This one gets to top in two categories it is that great.  It is L'Oreal Infallible lip stick in Refined Ruby.  I love this classic red. It is extra super long wearing doesn't budge and doesn't dry your lips out.  This is the best red I have ever owned.

And that wraps it up folks my top lip colors of 2012.  I love all of these.  I am beat I sat down for a morning and got all of these posts set up at one time so I am beat and up for a nap.  I hope you guys enjoyed these and find some great new things to try.  I am picky and wouldn't recommend them if I didn't love them. :)

Favorite skin/hair care of 2012

 Favorite facial cleanser:

Olay dual action cleanser pore scrub is great it doesn't dry me out but I don't get break outs either.

Another things I used allot this year is my Norwex make up remover towels.

Favorite Mask:

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque is a great favorite esp if I am having some break outs.  I do this about once a week.

Favorite Moisturizer:

I love this simple replenishing lotion.  It has helped my dry skin soooo much.  It doesn't burn and I have no dry patches.

Favorite Shampoo:

My favorite shampoo and I know I have sang its praises over and over is clear scalp and hair therapy.  It is amazing smells good is moisturizing and actually works.  I am basically flake free (that never happens)

 My fav dry shampoo is dove it smells good and works well.  You should never wash your hair every day. I wash mine about every 3rd day or so and dry shampoo is a life savor.

 Favorite Hair Products:

I love this hair spray. It smells wonderful has light hold but can be built to a higher hold.

 I love this coconut milk anti breakage serum.  Everyone is my house uses this.  It makes your hair smell great and leaves it stronger and shiny.  I mix it with my gel or mouse and put it in when my hair is wet.

Favorite eye products of 2012

 Now we all know how much I love my eye make up so this one was hard.  So I have lots of great products to share and I split them into lots of categories.
Favorite cream eye shadows:

Maybelline 24 hour tattoos.  These are great as bases or alone. I have 4 and have two more that plan on being in a haul soo ;)

Revlon color stay shadow stick in torch.  This is great as a base or in a pinch a great shadow alone.

Favorite high end shadows:

The lorac pro pallets is a great one i have used this soo much since I bought it. It has everything shimmer or matte. 

Bare Minerals Truth has been used soo much.  I love this neutral pallet it really does work great and it is a great pallet for trips because it is small and you can do subtle or a smokey eye.

Favorite Drug Store Pallets:

NYX caviar and bubbles.  I love this pallete I wear this all the time.  I am wearing it today.  It has some great mattes and some great shimmers this is another great road trip one because it is small but has a great selection.

Any wet and wild pallet is a great one. This one is comfort zone but I wear petal pushin and drinking a glass of shine allot too.

Favorite Mascaras:

 L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara is a great one it gives great volume length and separates. 

 

Physicains Formula Organix\ wear mascara is another great one very build-able with out clumps and has doesn't smudge or flake.

Favorite Liners:

My favorite pen liner is the jordana fabuliner in brown. It is great exact line and less harsh then black.

My favorite black liner is L'Oreal linear carbon black intense.  It is very black and has a great applicator.

Maybelline lasting drama gel liner is a great one too.  Easier to work with then liquid when you are starting with cat eyes.

Favorite Eye Primers:

My favorite eye primer (when not using a cream shadow which is what I do allot) is elf eye primer it works just as good as some of  the others high end primers I have tried and is 1$!!

Favorite face products of 2012

I wanted to do a series on my favorite things for 2012 but then I realized there is soo much.  That I am breaking it into a few different categories.  So First off is my favorite face products of 2012.  

Favorite Foundation:

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation. 

this is my favorite foundation My skin (which is dry ) always looks Dewey never dull and has good coverage and staying power

 

Another close one is Maybelline super stay 24 hour.  It doesn't make my skin look flaky or dry and it stays put all day and has great coverage.

 Favorite Primer:

Yes you are seeing this right.  This is my favorite primer it is just like smash box photo finish primer and it works great (esp when mixed with a thicker foundation like Revlon whipped)

 

 Favorite powder:

My favorite powder to set my makeup with is rimmel stay matte by far. Great product inexpensive and  tons of product for the price too.

 

 Favorite Bronzer/Contour:

My favorite contour product for the year is by far nyc sunny. It is matte not orange and it is dirt cheap gotta love that.

Favorite concealers:

My favorite under eye brightening concealer is the maybelline lumi concealer.  It is works well isn't super thick but brightens and covers pretty well.

 My best Heavy duty concealer for pimples or more hard core things is Nyx hd concealer it is a very high coverage concealer.

Favorite Blushes:

I have been on a huge blush kick lately so this was hard to narrow down.

A recent fav I am wearing like 5 days of the week is Nyx pinched its a great shimmers peachy pink.  It is great

 hard candy fox in a box in hot flash is a great more matte blush that gives you a very good pink flush.

 Wet and Wild Pearlesant Pink is a great glittery pink color.

 Favorite Highlighters:

I have two highlighters I love Hard Candy Tiki is more of a tan sheen but it works great.

 Physicians Formula Happy booster.  This is more of a white sheen but it works great and smells good and is cute as can be.

4 weeks 5 days

So today marks 4 weeks 5 days pregnant.  I took a pic (excuse the wet hair I wound up having to leave early to pic monkey butt up and didn't have time to do it).  I wasn't as nauseous this morning.  I started splitting my vitamins and doing half in the morning and half at night and I think that has helped.  I have been drinking my green smoothies every morning (with Greek yogurt added in because I am on antibiotics).  but with that I take my prenatal, 2 chewable vitamin d, my thyroid pill, my antibiotic, and usually two tylonal. So I started cutting my prenatal in half and only taking one vitamin d, then doing the other half with dinner.  I think that helped a bit.  Still some nausea but not as bad.  Btw I am feeling super bloated and it is farrrrr too early.  I know this is baby #3 for me but geez my fat jeans weren't even comfy by the end of the day yesterday!  For all the other multiple time mamas is this just me or what???

Right now I am relaxing on the couch being a bum.  It was a busy weekend.  My hubby took down all the Christmas decorations over the weekend ( I had gone back to bed because I was feeling barfy and he did it himself).  We dropped monkey butt to her dad (this happens about ever other weekend and it is hour and half each way).  Then yesterday we made a quick trip to er (firemonster jumped up and banged her neck on the counter and was screaming like her butt was on fire and couldn't move a inch for about 45 min take her in she is just fine! typical) 

anyway back on track we had our great neighbors over for new years eve dinner.  I made homemade mac and cheese & a bbq pulled pork pizza.  I don't know if you guys know this or not but you can buy papa murphys pizza crust for 2$.  It is the best no waiting for the dough to raise and big mess in your kitchen and they come on their own pan so easy clean up.  Can't beat that.  Mrs Pat made great punch and a amazing cheese tray.  Then everyone went home and we had ice cream (drs orders). Fire monster slept in her sisters bed watching a movie and me and benji snuggled up on the couch to watch some breaking bad until midnight for our new years kiss. ;)  

Today we cleaned house and picked up monkey butt today (another 3 hours in car)  I also took another pregnancy test because I am a weirdo and I just wanted a mega dark line and I got it mid afternoon and all.   (that is a drop of water from my hands and not pee I promise)

So I am soo ready to go wash my face and go to bed.  I hope you guys have a great New Years Eve and 2013 is treating you well.  I am off to bed :) see ya
